Esthela + Diego

A very very close to home wedding I was able to capture. Not a dry face in sight for these two at the Rengstorff House in Moutain View. A love so pure, true, strong. This day had me in tears from the first look to the first dances with parents. I am always so grateful for days like these that remind me why capturing images are so important. Could you imagine a life with no pictures? Nothing to look back on? All you can rely on is your brain to try and remember every single second. I often get asked, “photography or videography?” in a perfect world I say both. In this life we live sometimes it’s just not do-able for both teams to be there. So I say photography. The reasoning is because, yes, video is important but when your children want to share the story of your love to their children and grand children what will they have? Photo albums. I in fact love video because you get to hear and relive some pretty special moments but over all when you look back at those images those voices and laughter will hit you hard. The nostalgia will settle in and you relive it again and again and again… without being in front of a screen.

Anyway, thank you Diego and Esthela for trusting me with something so special I will cherish your day forever. Thank you for making me cry like a big baby. <3
